[Info] How to fix Poor WiFi signal on iPhone 4 and 4S.

Recently I had some issues with my iPhone 4 on the WiFi reception.
The fact is: it only received strong WiFi signal when less than 10 inch to the router, anything more and the bars dropped. More than 30 inch = completely no reception, so I started to inspect. A Full restore did not help at all, therefore, I quickly figured out it is a hardware issue.
Turned out that it was in fact a hardware issue, but it was fairly easy to fix, here's how:

  1. Get a star 0.8 X 30mm screwdriver (especially for iPhone screws)
  2. Unscrew the back plate that protects the battery and the motherboard
  3. Carefully locate the middle-top screw. (The Cyan screw in this image).
  4. That screw makes the connection between the antenna and the Mobo and if it got loosen it won't make the connection properly
  5. Just screw it further until you reach the maximum (careful! you can damage the mobo).
  6. Put the back plate back.
  7. Test
